ABOUT MeAndMyMac

I formed MeAndMyMac to offer a professional and personal creative design service. My main aim is to help smaller companies present themselves in a better way, and to match their bigger competitors for quality and status in their corporate image. So, whether you’re an established company or a business start-up, I can provide you with a great look that will help your business prosper.

No one knows your business better than you. It’s my job to understand and interpret what your business really needs, and to give you what you want.

I’ve got loads of experience in commercial marketing and graphic design, so you can be sure of receiving a professional service. You’ll also get straight-talking advice and a great job at a good price.

Based in Shrivenham, near Swindon I work mainly for companies in Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Gloucestershire but can work further afield as most jobs are approved electronically.

You won’t be paying for agency overheads, expensive offices or flashy cars. What you pay for is my expertise, my service and an image that will serve your business well.

What I like to do most is come up with design solutions that really work well for my clients. It’s what I’ve been doing for almost 20 years, and I still feel huge satisfaction when a job is completed, my client is happy and the image style is set.

Take a look at my portfolio to see what clients think of my work.

And whether you only need a business card or a full corporate identity package, the service I offer is tailor made for you. I will always provide a no obligation quotation for your job and stick to the price we've agreed.

Top tips for logo design

Think how your logo will be used and whether it will be used as a name and icon or a name alone.
Make sure your company name is clear so that potential customers can read it.
Design in black and white to help focus on the typeface, shape and size.
Try to choose no more than two colours — it is more economical to print. Match to Pantone colours and find out the colour split for CMYK and RGB.
Consistency and cohesion in all your design work will show a much more professional image.
Don't forget who the design is for — always your target audience, not the MD.
Don't use clipart, it will make you look like an amateur.
Make sure it is you who owns the copyright in your logo design, and ask for original files. You will definitely need them for your own use in the future.
